World Farm Animals Day Action Alert

It's Time to Speak Out for Farmed Animals

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter."
~ Martin Luther King, Jr
.

World Farm Animals Day takes place on or around October 2nd. It is a time for all to reflect on the suffering and death of the 50 billion sentient animals brutalized in the world's factory farms and slaughterhouses every year.

We need YOU to be the voice in your community!

Event Coordinators in all 50 states and two dozen other countries are increasing awareness of farmed animal abuse and the benefits of a plant-based diet. Events range from leafleting, information tables, and workplace feed-ins, to vigils, marches, video screenings, cage-ins, and more. Check out last year's USDA Die-in in Washington, DC.

This year's featured event is a cage-in. Of course, any event designed to raise awareness in your community is encouraged.

Participating is as simple as A-B-C:

A. Visit our Action Center for ideas & guidance.

B. Register your plans online or call us at 800-632-8688 to request a download an Action Kit & request free display materials for your activities.

C. Conduct your event! Large or small, ALL events count.

We provide guidance, materials, media assistance, and networking tools.
You provide a few hours and a lot of heart... it's that easy!

The animals are counting on us...

World Farm Animals Day is a program of FARM (Farm Animal Reform Movement), a nonprofit, public-interest organization advocating vegan diets to save animals, protect the environment, and improve health. We operate from the nation's capital and work through a network of volunteer activists in all 50 states and two dozen other countries.
