Sunflower Seed Patties



  • 2½ cups Water
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3-5 T Soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian herbs
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • 2 cups Oatmeal
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Sunflower seeds


  1. Bring first 6 ingredients to boil in a pot.
  2. Mix in oatmeal and sunflower seeds.
  3. Let stand till liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes. Stir lightly to mix.
  4. Form into patties and fry in pan or bake in oven at 180*C for 15 minutes each side.
