- 1 block firm tofu
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vegetable broth or water
- 2 tsp date puree (soak dates in warm water for 15 minutes and blend)
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 ½ tsp fresh grated ginger / ginger powder
- Black pepper
- Cut tofu into 4 – 6 equal pieces and place into baking dish.
- Whisk other ingredients and pour over top.
- Bake uncovered 200 C for 30 minutes.
- Serve with steamed vegetables and cooked grains
