    1. Movie Screening “Cowspiracy” @ Maranatha Building - Across the hall from SAFE office
      6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Cowspiracy movie Cowspiracy: The Sustainability Secret, is a groundbreaking feature-length environmental documentary following an intrepid filmmaker as he uncovers the most destructive industry facing the planet today – and investigates why the world’s leading environmental organizations are too afraid to talk about it. As eye-opening as Blackfish and as inspiring as An Inconvenient Truth, this shocking yet humorous documentary reveals the absolutely devastating environmental impact large-scale factory farming has on our planet.

This is a must see for anyone concerned about the environment, human health and survival on our planet and animals.

Please put this date in your diary and encourage/drag along as many people as you can. They won’t be disappointed! In Hamilton they had seventy-five attendees when this was shown recently and SAFE groups are also showing the film in Dunedin and Christchurch on 18th March. I’m hoping to arrange some delicious vegan snacks to enjoy after the film – showing people that the move to a meat-free diet doesn’t mean missing out on anything.

Cost $2 for SAFE volunteers; $5 for everyone else – payable on the door.

Please visit the event page at Cowspiracy The Sustainability Secret and share far and wide.
