If you enjoy films then keep the third Tuesday evening of every month free and join us. We will advertise the film and session time in our e-notice the previous week so you know what’s coming up. The venue will alternate between the Cuba (Wigan St) and Petone (Beach St) Lighthouse Cinema’s each month so that people from both Wellington and the Hutt can easily join in. The cost is $11, we have selected Tuesday’s because it is cheap night at Lighthouse. −Green Party’s launch of new Animal Welfare Campaign “Act For Animals” @ Mt Eden Village Centre (Methodist church building)1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
The Green Party would like to invite you and your team to the launch of the Green Party’s brand new Animal Welfare campaign “Act For Animals”.
Green MP Mojo Mathers will be discussing how we can act on the unique chance we have to improve animal welfare in New Zealand with the current review of the Animal Welfare Act.
Hot topics like animal testing for legal highs will also be covered in a panel discussion with guest speakers Vernon Tava of SAFE, Shelley Ryan of the RNZSPCA and Unitec animal behaviour scientist Arnja Dale.
