World Vegetarian Month
October is World Vegetarian Month, the celebration of all things vegetarian!
Whether you plan your own vegetarian dinner parties, or join in an arranged picnic or outing, you make a difference by showing your support for the day and by including non-vegetarians in your celebrations.

Vegetarian Expo – Christchurch’s Vegetarian’s Big Day Out where all are welcome to come and share a vegetarian day.
Great vegetarian food was enjoyed on September 15th, top veggie chefs displayed their cooking secrets, info about vegetarian living and celebrations of cruelty free pro planet living was shared with Christchurch’s vegetarian community.
Whether you are vegetarian or not, you will love the variety of foods and entertainment on offer.

This year for World Vegan Day, the Invercargill Vegan Society had posters going up around the city, a public potluck at a special venue….and plenty of street activism too!
They also started a Facebook group to encourage other groups to celebrate World Vegan Day, by sharing ideas Join in!
