World Vegetarian Month
October is World Vegetarian Month, the celebration of all things vegetarian!
Whether you plan your own vegetarian dinner parties, or join in an arranged picnic or outing, you make a difference by showing your support for the day and by including non-vegetarians in your celebrations.
See what was happening last year and organise something yourself for 2015 …

“Five of us went to Wharepuke restaurant for dinner and enjoyed a fabulous World Vegetarian Day banquet put on especially for us. The food was amazing and extremely good value. We started with four different entrees then moved onto the five choices for mains followed by four desserts. The food just kept on coming… It was hard work forcing ourselves to try all these dishes but we did it! It was a wonderful experience and I hope we can encourage more people to join us next time!”
