Sunflower Seed Patties
Recipe from the GRACE Health Food Demonstration, Auckland Vegetarian Food & Lifestyle Festival 2010
2½ cups Water
1 medium onion
3-5 T Soy sauce
1 tsp Italian herbs
¼ cup Oil
2 cups Oatmeal
1 clove Garlic, minced
1 cup Sunflower seeds
- Bring first 6 ingredients to boil in a pot.
- Mix in oatmeal and sunflower seeds.
- Let stand till liquid is absorbed, about 10 minutes. Stir lightly to mix.
- Form into patties and fry in pan or bake in oven at 180°C for 15 minutes each side.
