Petition to End Misleading Food Labelling to be Presented at ParliamentOur petition calling for clear and enforceable vegan and vegetarian food labelling will be formally handed over to Steve Abel, Green List MP, on Wednesday, 26th March, at midday. The petition will subsequently be presented to Parliament. Event Details – Date: Wednesday, 26th March, Time: 12:00 PM (midday), Location: Parliament Grounds, Wellington (Seddon Statue area and front lawn behind the barriers). Come and show your support! The petition will be handed over by Claire Insley (Vegan Society of Aotearoa) and Ina Babic (New Zealand Vegetarian Society). Your presence matters – join us in advocating for transparent labelling, consumer protection, and ethical food choices across Aotearoa New Zealand.
